This is one I am sure all parents can appreciate.

One of my husband's favourite shows to watch is the Dragon's Den. For those of you that haven't heard about the show. It is about a group of wealthy Canadian business people that have the money and experience to help aspiring entrepreneurs dreams come true.

Last night we were really impressed by one of the companies trying to get the Dragon's attention. "uKloo" - An early reader treasure hunt game. The game was invented by a Mom who had 2 boys that did not want to learn how to read. I think every parent has gone through this at some point or another. Some kids gain the love of reading where others don't. But this game helps make learning how to read fun and before you know it they are learning how to read without even realizing it. The ideas is that parents hide clues around the house and they have to read in order to find them. We could relate because our eldest daughter learnt how to count by playing UNO and adding up her score each time we played. We could see how this would be a great tool to help their children learn how to read. For more information visit their website.
